Fund-raisers and donations are used directly to help offset the costs to send each Explorer to competition. The costs incurred include tuition, lodging, food, and transportation expenses for explorer competitions throughout the year.
Donations are also used to organize team building events throughout the year and the purchase of awards/plaques for high achieving Explorers and to offset uniform costs.
