Mentorship

The Placer Sheriff’s Activities league has been awarded grant money to expand on our mentorship program. With National Pal and funds from the Department of Justice’s Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP), we will be implementing a program mentoring youth ages 12-17.
Some of the skills and values taught include leadership, sportsmanship, teamwork, respect for oneself and others and living a healthy lifestyle. We will be taking several field trips throughout the year.
